West Chester, Pennsylvania (ADT):
A judge performed a wedding ceremony for an inmate and his fiancee, moments after sentencing the groom to more time in prison for hiding marijuana in his underwear.
Chester County Judge Paula Francisco Ott added 6 to 23 months to Marcus Tian Washington's prison term, then asked a deputy sheriff to uncuff his right hand so she could officiate the marriage.
Ott asked the bride, 19-year-old Timalin Douglass, several times whether she wanted to go ahead with the wedding. Douglass, who wore a beaded wedding gown, told the judge "yes" and later said she was optimistic about relocating and "getting away from the wrong people and places."
Washington, 25, was caught with marijuana inside Chester County Prison while awaiting sentencing on separate charges. He was sentenced to 4 to 8 years in prison for striking a man in the head with a beer bottle at a Phoenixville tavern and then shooting at him in July 2002.

A court in India has ordered a restaurant to pay about 1p in damages to a customer sixteen years after spilling hot curry over him
Jitender Mohan Gupta is to be paid one Indian rupee by the proprietors of Nirula's Snack Bar as compensation towards deficiency in service and injuries suffered by him, reports United News of India.
Mr Gupta said he was dining at the restaurant at New Delhi's Connaught Place with his wife and son, when a waiter spilled a bowl of sambhar over him while "stylishly" trying to serve it on a plate.
The customer claimed in the process his trousers were damaged and said he suffered from itching for three days forcing him to stay away from his family.
He went to court after the restaurant staff refused to give him their complaint book but instead offered him a free lunch.
Additional Sessions Judge Narottam Kaushal noted: "To add insult to injury, the defendants invited him for a meeting and offered him free lunch at one of their outlets."

Essen, Germany (Ananova):
Police in Germany had to help a driver find his car after it was swallowed by a hedge.
The man, who is 55, told police he had left his Mercedes parked near a filling station in Essen and had gone to buy cigarettes.
When he returned, the $58,000 automatic car was gone.
He suspected it had been stolen, but police decided it was worth searching the area.
They eventually found the car a short distance away, in a thick hedge.
It's believed the car rolled down a stretch of road through a hedge, smashed down a fence and was only stopped by a tree behind it.
The hedge was so thick that the car was swallowed completely and could not be seen from the street.

An Indonesian man impatient to get rid of an excruciating headache has been hospitalised after swallowing his false teeth along with his medicine.
The 45-year-old man nearly choked on a set of false teeth and was rushed to hospital in the town of Banjarmasin in South Kalimantan, the state Antara news agency said on Monday.
The man was in such a hurry to alleviate a headache that he gulped down his false teeth while trying to swallow medicine bought from a street stall.
His family found him gasping on the floor and took him to hospital, where doctors immediately performed surgery to extricate the false teeth stuck part of the way down his throat.

London, England (Ananova):
A London gym has launched a new fitness class that claims to increase the size of female members' busts.
Boob Aerobics has been devised by Richard Hilton, the owner of Gymbox in Holborn.
He claims the three-step process will increase breast measurements by at least two inches and one cup size after just eight classes.
Participants must take part in a range of moves including major pectoral exercises, bench presses and anterior raises
Mr Hilton said: "The Boob Aerobics class means that there are now alternative ways for a girl to get the bust of her dreams.
"It's about sweat not surgery, and this new fitness regime is certainly proving popular with many of our female members for whom the breasts are an important focus of their exercise routine."
